

Sikar, Rajasthan, 29 November 2025: A horrifying case of sexual assault has shaken the Sikar district, where a 30-year-old woman was gang-raped in her own home, and the act was livestreamed on Facebook. The incident, which took place in front of the woman’s father and children, has sparked outrage across the state.
According to police reports, the perpetrators first forced the woman to consume a spiked beverage and then assaulted her physically. One of the accused then sexually assaulted her while another recorded the entire crime on his mobile phone. Shockingly, they broadcasted the brutal act live on Facebook, exposing the woman’s ordeal to the public.
Two Accused Arrested
Within hours of the incident being reported at Kotwali Police Station, the authorities arrested two suspects. Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar Jangid confirmed that the accused, both intoxicated at the time, had entered the woman’s dwelling and committed the crime. The suspects also looted ₹50,000 from the victim’s home during the attack.
Police Investigation Underway
The police have taken the case extremely seriously and formed a dedicated team for investigation. Constable Dalip played a key role in apprehending the suspects from the same locality where the victim resides. Authorities are currently interrogating the accused and examining the digital evidence, including the livestreamed video.
The case highlights the dangers of social media misuse in broadcasting criminal activities and has intensified calls for stricter action against such heinous crimes.
