Bollywood stars Sunny Deol and Salman Khan are set to thrill audiences in the upcoming film ‘Gabru’, scheduled for release in March 2026. Sources reveal that Salman will appear in three key scenes, adding a significant twist to the story. Interestingly, he had quietly completed his shoot for the film almost one and a half years ago.
Exciting Year Ahead for Sunny and Salman
The year 2026 promises to be spectacular for both actors. Salman will feature in ‘Battle of Galwan’ and ‘Raja Shivaji’, while Sunny Deol will return to the big screen with ‘Border 2’ and ‘Gabru’. Following the massive success of ‘Gadar 2’ in 2023 and Sunny’s hit ‘Jaat’ in 2025, audiences are eagerly anticipating his next releases. The addition of Salman Khan’s cameo has further heightened excitement among fans.
Salman’s Secret Shoot
According to reports from Bollywood Hungama, the makers of ‘Gabru’ were looking for a star to bring a unique energy to the film. Salman was approached and he immediately liked the role and the film’s concept. He completed his portions discreetly, maintaining secrecy until now.
Salman and Sunny: A Rare Collaboration
Though both actors share a strong friendship, they have rarely worked together. Their only prior collaboration with screen presence was in ‘Jeet’ (1996). While they were part of ‘Heroes’ (2008), they did not share any scenes in the film. In ‘Gabru’, Salman’s three scenes are considered an extended cameo, which will play a pivotal role in the storyline.
Salman’s Upcoming War Film
Meanwhile, Salman is currently shooting for ‘Battle of Galwan’, a war film based on the bloody clash between India and China in the Galwan Valley in 2020. He plays the role of martyred Colonel B. Santosh Babu and is also producing the film, with Apoorv Lakhia directing. The movie is slated for June 2026 release.
With Sunny Deol and Salman Khan joining forces, ‘Gabru’ is expected to make waves at the box office, promising action, drama, and stellar performances.
